Despite my worsening pinched nerve saga I have been able to do a few things towards getting the next page done. One of them is this theater seat. It’s made entirely of cardboard with a wooden dowel that allows the seat bottom to fold up. Without an official ETA on the next page, all I can offer you patient readers is to have a seat and take heart that I am doing the best I can.

This may be a long drawn out affair with the potential for surgery, physical therapy et al so I would again advise you to sign up for email subscriptions. That way you can always stay on top of things as they happen. If you do click the little envelope above and put in your email address, be sure to check your spam filter in case the confirmation email got snagged.

It’s not all good news today unfortunately. Last week I was overcome with excruciating pain in my neck, shoulder and arm. No over the counter meds seemed to make a dent in it and I ended up in the ER on Wednesday. After a battery of tests, it’s come to light that I have a pinched nerve in my neck that has me laid up for a while. So this means that the Process will suffer some delays over the next little while. Fret not, faithful! In the meantime I’ll be plotting and scheming what’s going to happen over the next few pages. Now’s a good time to hit the ole email subscription option so you’ll be notified of any updates when they happen. Now it’s back to get some rest…

Readers expecting a new page 30 might be a little disappointed to see that 30 is what used to be good ‘ole 29! That’s because there’s a new page snuck in there. I never felt 100% comfortable with the transition between page 28 and old 29. It seemed a little too abrupt with some sort of buffer needed before the photographic elements of page 30. This page heightens the disorientation, closes the ourobouros introduced in 28, furthers the cloud motif and introduces the spiral motif found in page 30. Another consideration is that when this becomes a book (cross yer fingers) page 28 and the new page 29 will be a spread and page 30 will be revealed by turning the page. It’s a little more dramatic that way. So without further ado, here’s the new page 29!

Today I went for it and I updated the look of this blog. I am much happier with this theme as it is more in line with the rest of the site. It’s a rework of Ghyslain Armand’s wonderful theme, Margot. You can get it for your own blog at his website, www.itcouldbethisone.com. There will probably be a period of working out some kinks but I think it’s pretty much there. If you encounter anything weird with it please leave a comment and I’ll get to it asap. Okay, back to the drawing board! 

Tired of waiting between pages? Checking the site only to be disappointed that absolutely nothing has been updated? Well, I can’t exactly promise speedier updates but I can offer to make it easier for readers to keep tabs on the Process. One way is by subscribing to the feed. It’s now powered by Feedburner so it’s available in HTML as well as the standard XML. Another new feature is the addition of email subscriptions. This service is also provided through Feedburner so your address will not be sold for spam. I guarantee it. What you will get is an email of every update to this blog. So instead of coming to me to find updates, the updates will come to you! I’ve had this feature added to my own email to test it and it works just fine.
